I will be in Orlando for March Break with my little ones and hubby, I would love to see you guys again. I was lucky enough to get great seats at the Fallsview Casino and Im ready to sail with you in December. Love you guys :)
Robs 2010 concert at Universal was inside the park. You have to have a ticket to the park and the concert is standing room only at the stage just inside the park. Not the best venue but he rocked it that night!
Just called Universal and was told that for any concert during Mardi Gras, you have to buy a pass to Universal for the day ($88 for FL residents) and the concert is included. The concert is standing room only.
I saw Rob Thomas at Universal in 2010 and I don't recall being forced to buy a pass for Universal just to see the show. Wasn't the show somewhere on the City Walk section so you only had to have a concert ticket and not a Universal ticket?
Orlando show is part of Mardi Gras. But Rob tweeted yesterday that this first tour was just smaller cities and that they'll be touring in the summer in the bigger cities! So expect a better selection of shows!
I got a password - it is specific. However, for Orlando the Buy Tickets link is not active. It seems from others comments that we may have to buy a pass to Universal and then we have General Admission to the show. I wish they would give us some details on this concert. I could not find it on UniversalOrlando.com.
From what i see about universal its a general ticket with no assigned seats so I am very discouraged about getting a decent seat for the concert. I can't stand up for hours and then stand for a concert.
Did you get your passcode? I didn't get mine so hope i will get one before the rest of the concerts go on sale.
